In 2026 the IRONMAN World Championship will return to a single race day, with men and women racing together, in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.  

While returning the IRONMAN World Championship to its roots in Kona, 2026 will mark the first single-day race since 2019. Athletes can look forward to a world class event that is focused on operational innovation, and an elevated racing experience that enables the most competitive and committed triathletes to challenge themselves on the biggest stage.
